RATES: All rates are quoted per property, per night based
on the maximum occupancy as indicated. Minimum 2 night stay. Holiday
season a 4 night minimum. All prices are quoted in Canadian funds and
are subject to change. Taxes not included (5% GST).

BOOKING POLICIES: Bookings are confirmed on a first served
basis. Early reservations are recommended. Call or visit our website.
Bookings will only be confirmed if payments are received in accordance
with the Payments section. Renters under the age of 25 must be accompanied
by an adult of 25 years or older or a parent, who must occupy the property
for the duration of the stay. Any reservation made under false pretences
will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment of rent and deposit,
and the party will not be permitted to check-in, or the party will be
required to leave the rented property.


  1. Bookings made between 45 days and date of arrival,
    full payment is due immediately.
  2. Bookings made more than 45 days from the date of arrival,
    requires a deposit of 50% of the total accommodation including taxes
    due at time of booking. The balance is due 45 days prior to arrival.

Wintergreen Lodge reserves the right to cancel a booking
where any payment is not received within 5 days of its due date.

Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, Visa or Cheque.

Credit Cards: When using a credit card to confirm or pay
for a booking, the guest and/or the cardholder give their consent to
Wintergreen Lodge for the cards use.

CHANGES TO BOOKINGS: A guest wishing to make any change
to their booking must notify Wintergreen Lodge outside of 45 days from
arrival. An administration charge of $25 per booking plus HST will apply.
Any changes made within 45 days of the arrival date makes the booking
subject to full applicable cancellation charges.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:  An imprint of your credit card
and a signed rental agreement form will be taken upon arrival as a security
deposit which the guest agrees may be used by Wintergreen Lodge to recover
costs incurred as a result of the guest’s stay, including:  Excessive
cleaning charges, property damage, etc. All properties are non-smoking:
Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a $300 CAD deep cleaning
charge to pay for smoke cleaning. There will be a $100 charge if any
furniture is moved and not put back to it’s original position. Also,
if any electronics (TV, satellite, cable) are disconnected there will
be a $100 charge.

CANCELLATIONS:  If you intend to cancel, notify Wintergreen
Lodge immediately.  Cancellation charges will be calculated based
on the date Wintergreen Lodge receives notice of cancellation.

44 days or less prior to arrival date – 100% of
total is non-refundable unless we can rebook your complete stay. In this
case you will receive a refund less a $100.00 administration fee.**

*The cancellation charge is a liquidated damage to compensate
Wintergreen Lodge for prepayments and administrative costs involved in
the processing of a cancellation and is a genuine estimate thereof and
is not a penalty.

**Total price is all money due and/or paid to Wintergreen

GENERAL INFORMATION:  Properties are non smoking
and no pets. All properties are to be maintained by the guest during
their stay. All properties have light housekeeping, linen and towels.
For hot tub use it is recommended to bring along extra towels. Personal
toiletries, such as shampoo, soap, etc are not supplied.

PARKING:  Parking is very limited on Mount Washington.
Please pay special attention to your specific property as to the number
of vehicles allowed to park. Please car pool. Parking is in designated
areas only. No parking in the neighbouring chalet or condos. Please do
not park on the road as this impedes the snow removal process. Vehicles
will be towed away to Courtenay at owners’ expense – $150. There
is no overflow parking on the mountain for overnight use.

HOT TUBS:  are not swimming pools. No jumping into
tubs. Please supervise children. Please shower before and after use of
hot tubs. No food or drink and no open wounds or cuts – this may
result in the changing of the water. If this is necessary there will
be a $150 deduction from your security deposit. Hot tubs are used at
Renters’ own risk.

Every effort is made to keep the hot tubs and other amenities maintained but, occasionally things happen that are out of our control. If this happens, we cannot change or discount your reservation.

bad weather, snow conditions or road closure, etc.

COMPLIANCE:  The guest agrees to comply with any
reasonable instructions issued by Wintergreen Lodge. The guest waives
any claim against Wintergreen Lodge for loss, damages, or injury for
any reason or by any result of the rendering of any of the services offered.
